The TRS leader K Chandrashekar Rao had made light of the TRS rebels who broke away from the party in protest against the undemocratic function and highhandedness of KCR. But the same rebels totaling 10 in number pose the biggest challenge to KCR and his leadership.

When the assembly convenes, there will be a strange situation. The number of the official TRS party will be seven while the rebels are ten. The rebels will naturally stake claim to be the real party. This is perhaps for the first time in history that the rebels outnumber the official candidates in the assembly.
