The hottest topic doing the rounds every where is the announcement of Rs. 2 a kilo rice scheme by chief minister Y S Rajashekar Reddy. The scheme was originally conceived by N T Rama Rao had he rode to power on this powerful slogan way back in 1982.

The sudden announcement by YS Rajashekar Reddy has not only come as a surprise to everyone but as a big shock to the TDP. According to informed sources, Rajashekar Reddy made the surprise announcement to pre-empt Chandra Babu from making a similar announcement.

It is learnt that Babu was toying with this idea and was getting ready to announce it shortly. But the idea was leaked for NTR trust bhavan. And YS stole the thunder from right under Babu’s nose. The rest is utter chaos amongst the rank and file of the TDP. And Babu is now trying to identify the person who leaked the news.
