Saawariya girl Sonam Kapoor reportedly turned down an offer to star opposite superstar Hrithik Roshan . Sonam turned down the role because it was too ‘bold’ for her.
Rakesh Roshan , who is very close to Anil Kapoor and quite fond of Anil’s daughter Sonam, wanted to cast her in his forthcoming project 'Kites'.
“The girl’s role is extremely bold,” Anurag Basu , who will direct the film, was quoted as saying. Sonam, who is very conscious of her conservative image, excused herself because the role requires the girl to get “seriously sexy” with Hrithik in the scenic locales of New Mexico, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
Roshan has finally signed up top Latin actress Barbara Mori as his son’s leading lady, which we told you last Friday. 'Kites' will also have Kangana Ranaut in a significant role. Kangana has previously been directed by Basu in Gangster and Metro .
