Inspite of being a close friend of Abhishek Bachchan , Rani Mukherjee was not invited to his wedding with Aishwarya Rai . Rani has worked with Abhishek in several films like Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna , Bunty Aur Babli Yuva , Hum Tum (Abhishek’s special appearance) and Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai .
Rani and Abhishek are known to be good pals and share an awesome onscreen chemistry. Apparently this friendship between Rani and Abhishek has resulted in the omission since Ash didn't want Rani to be invited for the wedding not being very ecstatic about her friendship and onscreen chemistry with Abhishek.
Industry insiders say that Rani and Ash haven't been able to see eye-to-eye ever since Rani replaced the latter in Shah Rukh Khan 's home production Chalte Chalte . There have been times when Rani has tried to communicate with Ash, but has received the cold shoulder. Thus, although Rani shares a good rapport with the Bachchans, she has been kept out of the guest list. Seems like Ash is not ready to forgive Rani – a trait of a typical Scorpio.
