The only newspaper that did not carry even a single line about Chiranjeevi’s political entry was Eenadu. This has surprised many observers but the reason is not far to seek. The group is still banking on Chandra Babu Naidu to come back to power. As such, it does not want to give any coverage to any other party or group.

Ramoji Rao is neck deep in trouble over the irregularities in Margadasri and also on some land holdings in Ramoji Fim city. The only way Ramoji Rao can come out of all the cases is if the TDP comes back to power. And this is what the paper is now trying to achieve. So any news that would affect the chances of Babu would not be given any prominence in the paper.

Observers also point out that the same Eenadu gave prominent coverage to the news of Chiranjeevi’s daughter running away from home and getting married. Even her court case in Delhi High Court was covered prominently, only to embarrass Chiranjeevi and demoralize him.
