Shah Rukh fans will flock to the cinemas to see him recreate the Amitabh Bachchan magic. Plus the look of the film is sleek and professional, and on top of that Priyanka Chopra in a bikini. Fireworks from Farhan.
Akshay Kumar is always dependable at the box office, and he always churns out reasonable results. Now add Salman Khan to that equation and you have a sure fire hit. But the film is a stale project which has been in production for a long time, and this may itself be its ultimate letdown.
Aishwarya Rai wearing loads of clothes and playing a shy woman in J. P. Dutta�s epic tale of love and tragedy. Not something that a Diwali relaxing audience would want to see. Abhishek Bachchan may be riding high in the hearts of Bollywood�s many fans, but can he pull of a dramatic role such as this? This film will fail to impress and be the first to be burnt this Diwali.
Finally, Arjun Rampal and Familywala. What can be said about this? Only a fool can expect it to create magic this Diwali , up against the real big-wigs. But fools sometimes do come up trumps. If it is comedy that the Diwali audience want, then this might just make its money.
All in all, this Diwali will be spent at the local multiplex.
