Film director Pankaj Shukla has been waiting for calls to come from distributors from foreign nations asking for the prints of his Bhojpuri film Bhole Shankar starring Mithun Chakraborty and Manoj Tiwari which releases this week, but people who are calling him are asking him for some secret information.
Shukla was puzzled till one of them revealed that he saw his mobile number in the Mani Shankar directed film Mukhbir as that of a person who is a police informer. "It was only then that I could put things into perpective. I was working in Zee News in Delhi when the shooting of the film was taking place at our studio. It was then director Mani Shankar had also used my mobile in the film.
But I had no idea what kind of shot has been used in the film or how the number has been depicted. But as it turns out, I am now continuously receiving calls from people who are seeing the film. I guess a few people are seeing the film now," says Shukla. Shukla hopes that a lot more people would see his film that the number which is watching Mukhbir. Bhole Shankar is billed as the biggest Bhojpuri film ever.
Shukla meanwhile promises never to get his mobile used in any other film... even in those that he is working on nowadays.
