The shocking terrorist attacks in Mumbai yesterday are sending shock waves across the country. The Andhra Pradesh is now on a high alert. A high-level review by top ranking police officials was held this afternoon.

According to the police, while all the important towns and cities in the state will be put on a high alert, Visakhapatnam the most happening city in the state is being put on high alert. Police say that they believe that Visakhapatnam could be on the radar of the terrorists as it is fast turning into a busy business centre akin to Mumbai.

The terrorists came by boat in Mumbai and the police also seized a large amount of explosives from an abandoned boat. Visakhapatnam also has a long shoreline and the police fear that the terrorists might use this route for their terrorist operations.
