Actor Vinay started off his career with the Jeeva film 'Unnale Unnale' and instantly rose to fame especially among female audiences. The dashing actor in an exclusive interview to Indiaglitz spoke about his attitude to work, co-stars, Sharon Stone, experiences with the late Jeeva who launched him and much more.

The straightforward and clear-thinking actor is awaiting the release of his second film 'Jeyam Kondaan' which has been directed by a former associate of Mani Ratnam. Bhavana and Lekha Washington also feature in this film that is slated for release on the 29th of this month.

A former Rugby player, Vinay is totally focused on making good movies and is ready to work hard in such a way that he can entertain the masses in an effective manner. 'I seldom am satisfied with a shot that I act in. I have this urge to keep on going till I get the right effect', says the actor with a smile.

When asked if he has any specific career strategy like developing a six-pack ab or settle down as a 'chocolate-boy' doing romance oriented films, the actor clearly stated that he would work towards the script of the film rather than maintaining a particular image. 'Today I might play a doctor, tomorrow I might play someone else and later on even characters with negative shades. I want to be a good entertainer and an actor capable of doing many roles. If the script demands a six-pack ab, I'll work towards it', says Vinay in a matter-of-fact way.

When asked about favorite actresses, a mischievous smile engulfs his countenance and says, ' Sharon Stone. 'Around the time I reached puberty 'Basic Instinct' and 'Sliver' got released and I loved watching Sharon Stone a lot'. However, he adds that Meryl Streep is his all time favorite actress.

'The Godfather Series is my all time favorite films and I simply love the work of Francis Ford Coppola' states Vinay who also admires Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth.

Vinay is thankful to have been introduced to the film world by Jeeva and says he'll always remain his greatest inspiration.

With a horde of movies lined up for him in the form of 'Modhi Vilayadu' directed by Saran, a film with director Kathir and many more, Vinay might just prove to be on his way to total stardom especially with his dedicated inclination towards hard work.
