  Vimala Raman has been signed up to play opposite Jagapathi Babu in the film Gayam-2. Vimala made her debut in Telugu with Evaraina Epudaina with Varun Sandesh as hero. Gayam-2 is being directed by Pravinsri. Ilayaraja will score the music for the film. Gayam hit the screens some 15 years ago and was a big hit. Jagapathi Babu is confident that the sequel too will become a big hit.
