Hero Vikram is now busy with his bi lingual film Mallanna (Kandasamy in Tamil). Susi Ganesan, a disciple of Mani Rathnam is the director and Shreya is the heroine. Vikram was said to take up a project to be directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. The film was supposed to be straight Telugu film. But the film has now been put on the back burner.
The reason is that Vikram is none too happy with the film Parugu directed by Bhaskar. Vikram watched a special screening of the film in Chennai and changed his mind. Vikram will now do a film in Tamil to be directed by KS Ravi Kumar. The film will go on to the sets in June
