The trend now in Kolywood is to remake hit yeateryear films. Hero Vikram wants to star in a remake of the hit film '16 Ella Vayasu'. Kamal Haasan was the hero Sridevi was the heroine. Superstar Rajnikanth played a negative role in the film. Vikram wants to essay Rajni's role in the film.
Vikram said that the film was his al time favourite and he has seen it many times over. The film was made in Telugut oo and Mohan Babu played Rajnikanth's role and Chandramohan played Kamal Haasan's role.
