Vijayashanti @ Ramulamma is progressing fast in political ladder. It may be recalled here that she had launched a party called Talli Telangana and participated in road shows. She had toured the Fluorosis-affected places in Nalgonda district for about two days.

Very recently Shanti had toured the Jawahar Nagar, Balaji Nagar, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar and other such slums in Hyderabad. She personally met the people in slums and learnt about the problems faced by them.

Several people had narrated their tales of woe to her.

Speaking on the occasion, Vijayashanti says, 'The Congress government had miserably failed in providing at least the basic amenities to the slums in Telagana region as none of them had proper roads, drainage facility and power supply.'

She alleged that the Congress government, though boasting of constructing houses under Indiramma scheme, in fact, forcing people to demolish their houses and shift to other places in search of livehood.
