It is well aware that the government had announced the names of the members of the committee to select films, artistes and technicians for the Nandi Awards for the year 2006 and Mallemala Sundarami Reddy was named as its chairman. According to information, senior artiste and director Vijayanirmala, senior artiste Annapurna, producer Arjuna Raju, Allani Sridhar , Ayyappa P Sarma, Vasu Rao, Y Kiran, VSR Swamy, Srinivas, Prabhu, Krishnarao Kesav, Srinivasa Raju, Veerisetty Hazarath Babu, V sai Suvana, Pothuri Ranga Rao, Ponnam Ranga Rao sould be the members of the committee. Film Development Corporation managing director C Parthasarathy would act as the member convener.
