The audio of 'Vijayadasami' directed by V Samudra and produced by Edara Ranga Rao on the banner of Sai Sarwajit Movies with Kalyanram and Vedika in the lead was launched at a grand function held at Annapurna Studios recently.

Dr D Ramanaidu, B Gopal, Vishnuvardhan Babu and Manyam Ramesh attended the programme as guests. Besides these dignitaries, Kalyanram, Samudra, Paruchuri brothers, Srikanth Deva , Vedika , Jayasudha, Saikumar, Ramaprabha, Nandamuri Hari, P Nagendra, Edara Ranga Rao, Reddy Sekhar, Gopal Reddy, 'Aditya' Dayanand, Abhinaya Srinivas and others attended the programme.

Ramanaidu launched the audio and handed over the first cassette to B Gopal. Ramanaidu wished that the audio as well as the film would become a big hit. Kalyanram says, 'The audiences could find a different Kalyanram in this movie.

This is a never before character and entirely different role for me. Moreover, the film had several elements like sentiment, action, love and comedy. Definitely the film would remain a memorable one in my entire film career.' Producer Edara Ranga Rao opined that the story and its movement would attract everyone.

He says, 'The songs choreographed in Germany and Austria would turn a feast for the eyes of audiences.' Director Samudra says, 'It is well aware that this is the remake of a successful Tamil film 'Sivakasi'. We thank AM Ratnam who gave us rights for the remake and MS Raju who gave the title for the movie.

This is a different film for Kalyanram and we are very much confident on the success of the movie. Srikanth Deva gave melodious tunes and we are sure that the audio as well as the film would be big hits.' Perarasu, the director of the original film 'Sivakasi', says, 'Director Samudra is a good friend to me.

I earned good name as director in Tamil with this movie and I am sure that the history would repeat in Telugu.' All the others who attended as guests wished that the audio and the film a big hit. Aditya Music is marketing the audio.
