The Talli Telangana Party chief Vijaya Shanthi seems struggling for existence in the political arena, while the doors of film industry
closed on her face long ago. After a ten year long period as politician, she was quite unsuccessful to establish herself as a matured politician or create own identity for her and her party so far. With the elections round the corner, she finds herself nowhere in the current political picture. Realizing the fact before its too late,
yesterday she staged a 'Dharna' at Indira Park at Hyderabad with small group of people demanding plots and houses for the poor people who resides in huts. She was successful in attracting the media with her dharna, which gives no end result for the poor who followed her innocently.

She is clever enough to recognize, that her image as an actress or as a politician will not drop her single vote in the coming elections. So she decided to merge her Talli Telangana Party with TRS because people are demanding so, and not because any other reasons as we think.
