The theatre owners association of Kanchipuram and Thiruvallur, in a joint press statement stated that, they are calling off their protests in the Aadi issue. The press release came shortly after the discussions of the theatre owners with representatives of producers’ council.

The significant turn of events would mean that the movies produced by Oscar Ravichandran would have cooperation for screening in Kanchipuram, Chennai, and Thiruvallur districts from the theatre owners.

As we reported earlier, the theatre owners announced for a boycott of Oscar production movies that included Dasavatharam and Varanam Aayiram reportedly for distributing Pokkiri inspite of the Aadi issue. In the statement, the theatre owners thanked Rama Narayanan for his efforts in settling the issue.
