 Director Vishal Bharadwaj shot scenes that were reminiscent of Raj Kapoor’s direction in Kal, Aaj Aur Kal for his Vidya Balan-Shahid Kapur-starrer Ishqiya A Wai. Vidya’s 80-year-old aunt had accompanied Vidya’s mother and sister to the shoot and unit members reveal that it was a treat to watch the women on the sets. "They were three women of three different generations interacting with one another. Vidya’s aunt was pretty excited watching the shoot of the film," the unit source says. Vidya’s aunt has been an avid Hindi film buff adds our source. "This was the first time that she got an opportunity to watch a film shoot. She was very excited. She was also worried for the assistant director as she feared that with his constant screaming, he would lose his voice. Every time there was a break, Vidya was asked questions about the process by her curious aunt. She is often seen discussing her role and films with her aunt," the unit member adds.
