The police are taking a lot of care to see that Venkat , son of former PCC chief K Keshava Rao is not put to even the slightest of trouble. Venkat was taken to the Punjaguta police station for questioning when the case was registered at the Jubilee hills police station. The reason? There is no AC room at Jubilee hills PS! It is even alleged that liquor bottles were seen to have been supplied to him during hi time in police custody. The same thin was reported when he was in the ICU at Apollo. Venkat’s friends were seen taking liquor bottles into the ICU. The police also allowed Venkat to visit his house and spend some time with his dogs! The way the police are treating Venkat with kid gloves, it appears that the investigation is being carried out in such a way as to prove that the incident is a case of suicide and not murder.
