The state government has issued a new GO which enables people to apply for Temporary Registration of vehicles at all eSeva centers. The government had earlier given the permission to register vehicle to the automobile showrooms.

But it was found that they were fleecing the vehicle owners. While the registration fee for two wheelers is only 60 rupees, the automobile dealers were charging 400 rupees. Similar is the case with four wheelers. While the fees stipulated by the government is 400 rupees, the dealers were charging up to 2,000 rupees. The move is aimed at cubing the malpractice at the showrooms.
