Vegam, the much-awaited movie, starring veteran dramatist S.Ve.Sekar's son Ashwin is fast in the making.

The story of Vegam is about a lady getting kidnapped and then rescued by a young man. The film deals with the various incidents that happen in a day.

Ashwin's performance in Vegam has caught the attention of many a directors. After Vegam he will be acting in other projects besides doing a movie under his father's direction. Vegam brings Khushboo and Prabhu working together, though not as a pair.

Archana is cast opposite Ashwin. Story-screenplay is by Sekar himself and K.R.Udayasankar is the director.

Majority of scenes have been shot in Malaysia. The movie after completion of shooting in just 3 months is in post production.

Shooting in exotic locales has become fashionable in Tamil cinema. Destinations highlight the movies more than anything else.

Barathan, director of Vijay-Shriya-Namitha starrer Azhagiya Thamizh Magan is flying abroad to shoot the song sequences. Three songs for the film have been composed by A.R.Rehman already

Barathan recently completed a shooting schedule with Vijay and Namitha at the the serene beaches of Pattaya in Thailand. Now he is flying to the glorious Kazakhstan shoot with Shriya and Vijay.

Azhagiya Tamil Magan will surely be a visual treat to all cinema buffs.
