Director P Vasu has done a god job with his latest film Krishnarjuna The film has Nagarjuna playing a fictitious role of God. This is enough for any director to then take full liberty and toss reality to the winds and go all out with fantasy and unbelievable stunts and miracles.
However, there is no such thing in the film Krishnarjuna'. Nagarjun plays a modern god and he helps and guides Vishnu to take charge of his life into his own hands. Nagarjuna only instills confidence and courage in Vishnu
He does not grant him any boon or some supernatural powers to tackle his opponents. Nagarjuna also does not enter into the body of Vishnu to bash up the bad guys. Vasu by resisting the temptation to go overboard with mumbo jumbo has actually set the stage for some meaningful portrayal of fantasy in films.
