Actor Uday Kiran made a sensational debut with the film Chitram. The film gave him instant stardom and also gave him the lover boy image. He soon went on to play college student and a young lover in a series of movies.

Just when his life was going great, an unfortunate break in his career came and he was left without a film for over two years. He moved to Chennai and acted in a couple of movies and one of them was with the legendary director K Balachanader.

Uday is back in Telugu with toe films.The first is Viyyyalavari Kayyalu and the other is Lakshmiputhrudu. Uday is confident that his second innings would be much more successful and he wants to stay put in the industry for the next three decades and even longer if possible. So let us wish this young actor good luck in his second innings.
