Re-recording works are in progress for Lakshmi Putrudu directed by Raj Kapoor, presented by P Sandhya Rani and produced by Polisetty Rambabu on the banner of RS Films with Udaykiran and Diya in the lead.

Music director D Imaan, who is providing music direction for the movie, says, 'The film has several elements including youth, action and sentiment. There are six songs and all of them are situational and came out very well. There is a very good response to the audio as well.

The success of the audio gave us moral strength and we are sure that the people would talk about re-recording as well. The film has good scope for music.' Producer says, 'This is our second project on our banner after 'Gopi-Goda Meeda Pilli'. The film has come out well. The director is making his debut in Telugu films through our movie and he would have a bright future.

We will release the film very soon.' Executive producer Vijay Varma says, 'The film has several highlights including Udaykiran's performance, Raj Kapoor's directorial capabilities, Imaan's music. We are sure that these would satisfy the audiences well and make our film a big hit.' Satyaraj, Brahmanandam, Raghubabu, Rajan P Dev, Riaz Khan, Mumaith Khan , Gauthamraju, Shakeela, Apoorva and others are in the cast.
