The US Consulate will start functioning from Hyderabad from early 2008. This was stated by the US Consulate General David Hooper in Chennai on Tuesday.
He said that they have been issuing about 600 visas a day on an average during the past one year and efforts are on to raise this number to about 1200 visas a day.
