Cute actress Tulip Joshi has reportedly signed a film to be made under Mahesh Bhatt ’s banner Vishesh Films.

Tulip’s career is on a roll ever since she ended her long hibernation a few months back. She has in her kitty two small-budget semi-artistic films: Manish Gupta’s Hostel and Arindam Mitra’s Shunya . And she will also be a part of Sanjay Gupta’s forthcoming Dus Kahaniyan .

Now, Tulip is learnt to have clinched a plum project with the Bhatts. The film is titled Dhoka and it will be directed by Pooja Bhatt .

It is reliably learnt that the movie’s story is based on custodial deaths in Jammu and Kashmir. Kashmiri model-turned-actor Muzammil Ibrahim has been selected to play the lead role of a police officer who takes on the enemy within the establishment.

Tulip says she has always admired Pooja Bhatt’s cinema and the way women are portrayed in them.

Incidentally, the Bhatts have been responsible for creating careers of many actresses. Whether Tulip’s career will come to full bloom with ‘Dhoka’, it remains to be seen.
