The film Tulasi with Venkatesh and Nayanatara in the lead got mixed response. The action by Venkatesh is superb. But the film has been loaded with heavy sentiment. And too many villains, and too much gore and violence are keeping off the audiences. The film is neither for the family audience nor the mass audience. With the two major sections keeping away from the movie, very few numbers are seen in Andhra. Very few ladies are turning up to watch the movie at theatres at many places in Andhra. The attendance has fallen way below 50 per cent just in the second week of its release.
