Trisha is intentionally refuses several film offers. Does it mean that she is planning to quit films? No, it is not the case and she took the decision to avoid such a situation to leave the film industry as playing indiscriminate characters would have an adverse impact on the character. Last year, she agreed many such films and in the absence of not so significant characters and bad stories gave her many flops in her film career.

Now, she had decided to avoid such situation this year. She has become very strict while accepting characters in films and seriously listening to the story, and the importance of her character in that subject. She got a clarity on what kind of characters she should accept. That was the reason, she came out of certain projects also. She took a firm commitment not to accept characters which have no significance and with poor storyline.

When asked she might lose chances in playing in as many films, she says, 'I have no qualms in it. It is not good to do insignificant roles in 10 films and instead one good film would help in maintaining my film career per year. It is no doubt a good logic. Isn't it?
