With her mega budget Sainikudu biting dust – or atleast seems like after viewing the initial reports and analysis – Trisha has gone to a philosophical phase in her life. With stiff competition in Telugu industry from all quarters – from bombshells such as Ileana and her fellow mates from Tamil such as Nayanthara and Asin – Sainikudu’s performance at the box-office was crucial for Trisha’s existence in the Telugu industry.
Now that the movie has showcased a dismal performance, Trisha finds the news hard to take in.
I put in my best efforts to all the movies I work. My performance in movies that flop at the box office can’t be underrated because I always work hard. Though Sainikudu initially failed to match the hype it created among the public, these are only initial reports. I am confident that the movie will pick up in the days to come, a self-assured Trisha uttered in the best of her philosophical tone.
Though Sainikudu’s flop message may not affect the hero Mahesh Babu whose market is beyond the hit/flop policy, Trisha’s market may plunge. Few upcoming projects with promising heroines in the lead are ready to hit the Telugu screens. Asin’s Annavaram – which is a remake of Tamil Tirupachi – and Ileana’s Katharnak are on the pipeline and these movies will be crucial in deciding Telugu cinema’s top heroine.
