Every move that actress Trisha takes makes big news. She is no doubt the top heroine in South India. She is set to consolidate her position by taking up a film each in Tamil and Telugu. She is going to act in a Tamil film to be directed by Radha Mohan and produced by Prakash Raj on behalf of his Duet Movies banner. She is also going to act opposite Ravi Teja in a new Telugu film to produced and directed by V.V.Vinayak.

Till the year 2005, she was waiting for an opportunity to make a big breakthrough in Tamil and Telugu, and so, she accepted every offer that came her way. However, the stupendous success of her Tamil film Sami and Telugu film Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana changed her fortune and she became choosy.
