Rumours are that you were part of the cricket team for a match in Dubai which was allegedly funded by underworld.

My association with the match was thanks to Nokia-BPL. I went there mainly because of Wasim Akram. It was to raise funds for the Diabetes Foundation. I love cricket, I'd play it even in a dessert.

Do you miss your TV show The Biggest Loser now that it's over?
Honestly, I do. For the last few months, I was deeply involved with it. Also I was back to my fitness regime in a controlled atmos phere. Now it's back to travelling long hours in the city. In Amby Valley, it was like heaven. I miss the interaction with the participants and the emotional upheavals.

What's been the general response?
Everyone has liked it except for a handful of people. I don't mind constructive criticism but some criticism seemed like personal attacks. The show was stressful because it wasn't an entertainment-based reality show. Nothing was staged, there were no judges, no fights. We had to deal with mindsets of contestants. I went by the script. I was tough when that was required.

You have promised to cast some of the contestants in your home film production. True?
On a personal level, I've promised to get three of them as much work as possible.

What's up on the acting front?
I'm concentrating on films. I've just completed one, a couple will start any day.

Is your film production company, Popcorn, on target?
From December we will have a film release every two to three months which means we are on target. There is a lot at stake for us. I'm not looking at the company's day to day functioning.. I have very efficient people doing that. Some of the films were slightly delayed because of the shuffling of dates. But these are minor issues.

Are you planning to do more TV shows?
As a host, I'll be doing only the second season of the Biggest Loser for the same channel. My company will be producing more shows. I've great plans, fingers crossed.

Shah Rukh Khan should actually be made the brand ambassador of Indian hockey.. he was superb in Chak De! India. I loved the film. I even messaged Shah Rukh that Chak De! India is his best film.

ON HEALTH
I live a disciplined life. I eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dine like a pauper. I drink plenty of water, sleep for eight hours.. I run, climb stairs, walk, play cricket and gym daily
