The terrorist attacks at various places in the country have put many establishments in high risk. Several temples in the state are said to be on the target list of terrorist outfits like Let and Jaish. .

The world famous lord Venkatewswara Swamy temple at Tirumala is said to be high on the terrorists’ radar. The government and the TTD are now taking measures to upgrade security. A Special Task Force team (STF) will be deployed at the temple with 250 trained personnel along the lines of the NSG commandos.
