Shaji Kailas' much-awaited film Time, featuring Suresh Gopi, Vimala Raman and Padmapriya in the lead, has stopped ticking. It was scheduled to hit the theatres today but the delay in its post production works has forced it to go slower by a week. Now, its release date has been postponed to May 18.

Actor Suresh Gopi had earlier worked with Shaji Kailas in the hit film Chintamani Kola Case. Heroine Vimala is new to Malluwood but she had earlier acted in Tamil film Poi. Time is said to be based on a real life incident in which an IPS officer captured illegal pirated VCDs owned by the wife of another IPS officer. Suresh plays the role of a police officer who does away with the anti-social elements in the society.

The film also has actors like Saikumar, Manoj K Jayan and Siddique in various important roles. Rajesh Jayaraman provided the script and Alex Paul composed the music with lyrics written by Vayalar Shart Chhandra Varma.

Let's hope Time graces the theatres on time!
