The state government has made elaborate security arrangements for Ganesh Nimajjan today. IP cameras, GIS positioning systems, with the help of 1,000 cameras positioned at strategic points in Hyderabad are in place.

In addition over 10,000 police personnel have been deployed at all strategic locations. Even helicopters are being pressed into service and they will keep a watch on the movement of the procession from the air.
