The state government has decided to start three new International Instititutes of Information Technology from 2008. The chief minister YS Rajashekar Reddy disclosed this to the media in Hyderabad on Saturday.

The three new IIITs will come at Basar in Adilabad district, Idupulapaya in Kadapa and Nuzvid in Krishna district respectively. The new institutes will start functioning from 2008. The work on IIT at Medak is also expected to commence classes from the year 2008.
