Three big films that are in the shooting stages have shifted their shoot to Kozhikode. Kamal's 'Minnaminnikoottam', Mammootty's ‘Parunthu’ and Prithviraj's ‘Thirakkatha’ are the movies that are being shot in neighboring streets in Kozhikode.

Prithvi'raj’s ‘Thirakkatha’ directed by Renjith was shifted from Wayanad, where the shoot for the movie was going on for a couple of weeks.

Kamal's 'Minnaminnikoottam' has completed a song and now the movie will need another four days to complete its shoot.

Mammootty's ‘Parunthu’ is being shot at Chelavvoor, in two units simultaneously, to get it to theatres by the second week of July.

The second unit is headed by Shajoon Karyal and cinematographed by Manoj Pillai.
