Three big films were launched in a hurry on April 30. The films are Nagarjuna's King , Mahesh Babu's 'Varudu' and Pawan Kalyan's 'Puli'. The reason is that April 30 happens to be the last auspicious day in this season.
There are no auspicious dates for the next 45 days or so. Therefore the producers of the films decided to formally launch the film with a simple puja on April 30. The regular shooting will commence shortly.
