Kareena Kapoor's surprise entry at the Saawariya premiere made quite a few heads turn. The fact that she had turned up to support cousin Ranbir clearly indicates that there may be a thawing of the coldness between the two Kapoor families.

An eyewitness at the event reported that Kareena hugged aunt Neetu Singh for a long time. It was a rare sight. When we called Neetu, she said, "Yes, things have settled down between us now. We are okay." However, Neetu did say that she hadn't sent out the invitation to Kareena, Kareena's invite had gone from Sanjay Bhansali.



Not so long ago, we had written that Babita has dissolved her differences with her husband Randhir Kapoor and is returning to RK household. Randhir had endorsed our story.

The latest is that Babita's daughters, Karisma and Kareena, are being forthcoming too. The Kapoor khandaan is getting back together. On Thursday, Kareena's friendly behaviour during the premiere only strengthens the rumours.



A quick look at the family feud: It can be recalled that Kareena had not attended Ranbir's sister Riddhima's wedding (in January last year) which had the who's who of the Hindi film industry attending. Also absent from this ceremony were Babita and Karisma. Actually, Kareena had not been invited.

This stemmed from the fact that Neetu Singh and her children weren't invited to Karisma's wedding. Apparently, payback time came when Neetu's daughter Riddhima was getting married.

Karisma and her husband Sanjay Kapoor had been invited though, but they didn't show up. Rishi Kapoor had categorically said then, "I called Karisma and Sanjay, but they wrote to me saying that they were busy in Delhi. But I did not call Kareena."
