In the film industry, you can run but you can’t hide. And Dino Morea should’ve known that before he went to town denying his altercation with his Bhram co-star, Milind Soman. A few days back, a website broke the story about Dino’s four-year-long tiff with Milind.
A day later, Dino laughed it off claiming that there were no problems whatsoever and probably, to justify his point, he even posed with Milind at the film’s shoot as if they were long-lost pals, desperately trying to prove that everything was hunky dory.
But Dino, considering his track record, should’ve realised that however hard you may try to conceal the truth, it always hits back in your face. Now tht site brings the confirmation straight from the director of the film, Pawan Kaul.
Close friends
Pawan Kaul
Pawan has been Dino’s close friend ever since they worked together in the filmmaker’s last film, Sshhh..., which he made for Cinevistas. That’s why he states that it wasn’t difficult for him to convince Dino to call for peace with Milind for the betterment of the film. Later, Pawan had a chat with Milind too.
Bhool jaa
In a conversation with tht site, Pawan reveals how he was the one who ended the war between the two actors.
“I had a talk with both of them and told them to let bygones be bygones,” says Kaul. “They both are quite mature and understanding. Hence, they agreed to forget the past and start afresh. Their issues are in the past now and everything is fine.”
Pawan Kaul maintains that he has deliberately kept a low profile since the release of his last film. As he explains, “I was doing television. I was waiting for something good to come by. I am not of the types who go around asking for work. I had made a few video films earlier for Hiba Films, and when this offer came up, I decided to take it.”
Excited
Kaul is now excited about Bhram, whose schedule in Mumbai is almost over. “The next schedule will be in Kulu Manali, where shooting begins from September 19,” says the director. Bhram also stars newcomer Sheetal Menon, Simone Singh and Chetan Hansraj and is slated for a January 2007 release.
Now that Pawan Kaul has set the record straight, we hope Dino also learns to be as forthright. We’d only be glad to make him hear Kaul’s taped interview in case he needs proof.
