The senior TDP leader T Devender Goud's 'Telangana Bomb' has been defused successfully. Goud's statement created a stir in the TDP and many leaders came out in the open in support of Goud. T Devender Goud had made a statement the other day that the Telugu Desam Party should make up its mind over Telangana.

Goud had even fixed a deadline – May 2008, for the party to come out with its stand on separate Telangana. But before the leaders could start grouping with Devender Goud, Babu managed to call Goud and pacify him

The 'Telangana' storm in the TDP has been blown away at least for some time. Devender Goud who met Babu yesterday said that he is fully with Babu on the issue of separate Telangana and a decision will be taken at the appropriate time. Goud said that a decision would be taken in due course after consulting all the senior leaders of Telugu Desam.
