Cinematographer Teja turned director with 'Chitram'. Teja, who belonged to Ramgopal Varma's school turned a producer on the lines of his mentor. He is preparing ground to produce a film on his own banner 'Chitram Movies', but is not taking the responsibility to direct it.

Instead, he is likely to rope in director Krishnavamsi, from the same Varma school. Presently, story discussions are in brisk progress. If everything goes well, a hero who came from the same Varma school is most likely to play hero in this movie. The film is most likely to go to sets in August.
