Tabu , though a Bollywood heroine, used to play one or two roles in Telugu and she had several good friends in Hyderabad and always likes to spend time in Hyderabad. She paired up with top heroes like Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi and her last film in Telugu is Andarivadu with the Mega Star.
Now it is reliably learnt that Tabu signed the dotted line for a film to be produced and directed by Chandra Siddharth on the banner of Filmotsav. It may be recalled here that Chandra Siddharth turned a director with an American film 'Inscrutable'. His film 'Aa Naluguru' with Rajendra Prasad as hero gained critical acclaim and received several awards for that movie.
His latest film Madhumasam with Sumanth and Sneha in the lead was also proved a hit and ran for 100 days. Now he reportedly narrated a story to Tabu and she announced her willingness to act in the movie. However, who will play the hero in this film is yet to be decided. The regular shooting of the movie would begin in September first half.
According to informed sources, the film would be a family subject coupled with entertainment. At the same time, there will be delicate emotions and mental friction in the movie. It is also learnt that a young hero is playing in a special role in the movie. More details are awaited.
