This is sweet news for workers at the co-operative sugar factories. Chief minister Y S Rajashekar Reddy ahs promised to revive sick sugar mills. And not only that, an mount of Rs. 270 crore will also be spent in the modernization of these mills.
Sugar factories have been neglected over the years by successive governments and many have closed by over the years. The prime land of some of the sugar factories has also been sold at throwaway prices earlier by the TDP government. Now with all th parties in the mid-term poll fever, some announcement are the other is being made by the government every day.
