Swarna Subbarao, who earlier directed Vijayendra Varma with Balakrishna , will direct Kalyanram for a film to be produced by Katragadda Lokesh (producer of Chinnodu). Shooting will start in this month.

Kalyanram might be playing dual role in this film for the first time. Kamna Jetmalani is one heroine. Sada might be the second heroine in this film. Also, noted actress Jayasudha is playing a key role.

Presently Kalyanram's Laxmikalyanam, directed by Teja, is done with production and is ready for release. RP composed songs and Mani Sharma did re-recording. Also, Kalyanram is busy as a producer with his NTR arts banner gearing up for Raviteja, Krishnavamsi's film titled Nuvvu Chaala Hot guru.
