After ‘Spiderman’ and ‘Ironman’ there is yet another superhero ‘Hancock’, who has joined the fantasy league and taken on to save mankind. However he is not just any sturdy looking crime fighting superhero, he’s the much detested homeless drunkard. Hancock, is a superman with poor PR skills who is out to present the dark effects of doing a good deed.
The much-awaited flick has finally released in India after being delayed twice. The film presents the actor par excellence, Will Smith as a superman with an addiction for alcohol.
The story revolves around John Hancock (Will Smith), the reluctant , lazy, unfriendly superbeing, who does his job which is to save the planet under the influence of alcohol. As a result he causes more damage than good. He breaks down public buildings, causes havoc by destroying roads, trains and cars. However, things take an ugly turn when his captures of criminals costs the city $9 million in damages.
But things change for good when Hancock saves Ray Embrey’s life. Ray is a PR executive who takes it upon himself to improve Hancock’s reputation by giving him an image makeover. But little does he know that there is something going on between his wife played by Chalize Theron and Hancock.
