P Janardhan Reddy is very angry at the way he was conned into putting off his indefinite fast. Digvijay’s statement yesterday came as a rude shock to PJR and his supporters. Digvijay said that Suresh who came to Hyderabad on Sunday was here only to oversee he arrangements for the Presidential poll. He did not come as the high command’s representative to diffuse the crisis,. Nor did he give any assurance to PJR.
All this has made PJR to cut a sorry figure before his supporters. He though that he was given an honourable way out by the high command by sending its representative to talk to him. Having burnt his boats with YS Rajashekar Reddy for good, PJR is now looking at other options.
As part of his agenda PJR met with TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao this evening. While PJR says that it was just a thank you call for KCR’s solidarity with him when he sat on a dharna at the Jubilee hills police station, there is more to it than what meets the eye.
KCR has sent strong feelers to PJR to join the TRS. He wants PJR to take the place of Narendra in the party. But PJR has not yet made up his mind. He is also getting strong feelers from the TDP. PJR may unfold his plans later this week.
