Chief minister Y S Rajashekar Reddy is in Delhi. The chief minister is scheduled to meet the Prime Minster Dr. Manmohan Singh at 6.00 pm. YSR is in Delhi primarily to discuss the minimum support price for paddy. The CM will try and convince the PM about the need to hike the MSP for paddy from 700 to 1,000 rupees.
Meanwhile it understood that Srija is trying to meet the chief minister. She is trying her best to seek an appointment with the chief minister. It is well known that she and her husband have already applied to the police commissioner in Hyderabad to arrange police protection for them.
Srija is trying to meet the chief minister in this connection. But sources say that it is highly unlikely that the chief minister would grant an appointment to her. Y S Rajashekar Reddy is well aware about the entire issue and he knows Chiranjeevi’s stand too.
YS had also spoken to Chiranjeevi over phone last week and expressed his grief over the unfortunate developments. In this context, Y S Rajashekar Reddy would not do anything that might embarrass Chiranjeevi further and also give undue publicity to the runaway couple.
