The state government is making arrangements to bring back the stranded workers from the state from Dubai. An estimated 4,000 workers are now on the roads in Dubai. They have been sacked by their employers and do not have the money to return to the country. The government there has set November 2 as the deadline for them to leave the country.
Minster Shabbir Ali will now leave for Dubai to bring them back. The state government plans to charter two special planes to bring them back. The state government is also in touch with the embassy officials to arrange documents for those who are stranded in the country without valid papers.
