Speaker Suresh Reddy announced that the resignations of the TRS MLAs have been accepted. The MLAs had put in their papers on March 4. But the Speaker asked them to reconsider their decision and gave them two days time.
But the MLAs stuck to their guns and stated that there was no question of reconsideration. The Speaker has now announced that he was accepting their resignations. With this, the TERs MPs and MLAs are no longer the members of the respective houses.
