 Rjnikanth is now acting in a new bilingual film. The film is a remake of the Malayalam film ' Katha Parayambol'. Rajnikanth and Pasupathy will act in the Tamil version. Simran has been finalized to play opposite Pasupathy. The search is still on for a heroine for Rajnikanth. In Telugu, Jahapathi Babu will play along with Rajnikanth. Katha Parayumbol, written by Sreenivasan (he also acted in the film), one of the finest script writers in the country, was recently in Chennai to screen the film for Rajnikanth, his old classmate. The duo studied together at the Adyar Film Institute. Rajni, floored by its simplicity, wanted to act in the film. After the movie, Rajini who was Sree more Simran-shakes-a-leg-with-Bharath  South beauty Simran gets to shake her leg with actor Bharath in a song sequence in the Tamil movie ‘Seval’. Interestingly, Simran is not the leading lady of the film being directed by Hari. Poonam Bajwa plays the love interest of the hero, Bharath. So where does this song with Simran come? According to sources, Simran plays Poonam’s sister in the film. When Bharath woos Poonam, Simran mistakes his courtship, thinks he is wooing her, and breaks into a fantasy song. The sexy Simran gives him able company in the film. Bhagavan plays the role of a fashion designer and Simran is a businesswoman who backs the hero. The story is very interesting and director Kuchipudi Venkat is all praise for Bhagavan and Simran for giving a great performance. Bhagavan’s comedy and Simran’s glamour are the highlights of the film. Simran’s ‘Simran Marapurani Kathalu’ is a daily serial that will run on MAA TV weekdays Monday to Thursday from 8.30 to 9.00 p.m. The serial will hit the screens from 26 May. The serial replaces the popular serial Ammamma.com that came to an end last Thursday. Unlike the usually long drawn out soaps on many channels, this one is going to be short and sweet. Each story will be of just 20 episodes and will be directed by a different director. She quit films after her marriage to Hyderabad based boy DM Praveen in 1998. Rajni has three children from her marriage. She went through marital problems and has sought divorce from the family court. The court gave her divorce ex-parte as he husband did not turn up in the court. Praveen is now trying to harass her by registering false cases against her. Rajni approached the High court seeking protection. She is staying in a flat and is looking after her three children from the rent she gets from the other flat. Her ex-husband has now got the flats registered in the name of his mother. The court has asked the city police not to register cases against Rajni till further orders.&nb more |
